Great FBO. Early Sunday morning I was on final approach to SDY. Mike was away from the airport, but called me on the handheld to see if I needed anything. All I needed was a couple of quarts of oil, and Mike was waiting on the ramp with the oil in hand. Can’t find service like that everywhere.

Richland Aviation is a full service fixed base operation (FBO) located in Sidney, Montana. We serve pilots, aviators, passengers and their crew from our modern facilities at Sidney-Richland Regional Airport (KSDY).

Full service aircraft fueling
Both Jet A and AvGas 100LL are available. Full service, mobile fueling is provided by staff that will drive the fuel truck right to your aircraft. Since we come to you, the aircraft does not need to be repositioned for fueling.
All of our line service staff are NATA Safety 1st trained and certified.
- Feel free to place an order in route and we will have a truck standing by at your arrival.

- Volume discounts for commercial accounts are negotiable.
- Fuel prices include local airport fuel flow fee and applicable taxes.

Deicing Services
During the cold, northern winters we are able to offset the elements with our deicing services. Our 45 gallon capacity cart comes to your aircraft and applies Type 1 deicer fluid that is heated to 140°F.
- Type 1 Deicing Fluid: $50.00 set up + $29/gallon (applied)

Aircraft Maintenance Services
With our knowledge, experience and shop capabilities, we are able to perform most maintenance, inspections and services while you are in Sidney, Montana.
All aircraft service and maintenance is performed only by trained, professionally certified mechanics. Our lead mechanic has more than 17 years experience and holds both an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate as well as an FAA Inspection Authorization (IA). Our aircraft maintenance and mechanical services are provided at our shop facility on site at Sidney-Richland Regional Airport (KSDY).
- Shop rate: $100.00/hour
Halfway home from OSH2015, and on a Saturday no less, I had a brake problem on my experimental. I thought I was going to be renting a car and driving to WA to get parts or waiting for a FedEx delivery on Tuesday. Because of the experimental nature of my aircraft not all FBOs or A&Ps are willing to help. Mike at Richland Aviation went above and beyond finding and replacing the parts, while showing a genuine interest in experimental aviation. Considering the amount of time he worked on the problem, he did it for much less money than I thought was fair. To top it off we got use of the crew van for the evening. Also, my plane was filled up full service for the lowest price on 100LL that I have had in years because of the Oshkosh special they were having. I will be back!
FBO Services, Maintenance & Hangaring
Aircraft Hangar and Parking
We offer multiple, heated hangars for both small aircraft and large jets. Our largest hangar is 13,000 feet and is capable of hangaring a Global Express, Bombardier Challenger 300 or Gulf Stream IV. Outdoor aircraft parking is available on a large concrete pad and tie downs are available.
Tow bars are available for most aircraft and we also have a heavy duty tug available for larger jets.

Mike and his staff provide exceptional, professional and friendly service to dozens of aircraft every day. Their service blows me away! The FBO is modern and clean thus providing an excellent place to relax between flights. Mike also serves the commercial air carrier, Cape Air, by providing a hangar, fuel, maintenance, and punctual service on a daily basis!
