Sidney-Richland Regional Airport (KSDY) Landing Fees

Dear Customer,

Effective July 1, 2015, the Sidney-Richland Regional Airport Authority began assessing landing fees. These fees do not apply to based aircraft or any aircraft having a maximum certificated takeoff weight of 6,000 pounds or less.

Richland Aviation recognizes that landing fees are a disincentive to potential airport users and for our customers. Richland Aviation is opposed to landing fees and will continue to encourage the Airport Authority to rescind its landing fee policy. In the meantime, to alleviate the additional expense and hassle associated with the landing fees, Richland Aviation has decided to issue landing fee vouchers to our customers.

Effective November 1, 2015, Richland Aviation will issue customers a landing fee voucher for each visit to our facility that is associated with a minimum fuel purchase or alternative facility fee payment. Your Richland Aviation receipt showing a minimum fuel purchase or facility fee payment is also your voucher receipt. The landing fee will be paid by Richland Aviation directly to the Sidney-Richland Regional Airport.  You should not receive a separate bill from the airport.

If you receive a landing fee bill from the Sidney-Richland Regional Airport after receiving a voucher eligible Richland Aviation receipt, do not pay it. Contact Richland Aviation immediately for assistance.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or comments. Your feedback is encouraged and appreciated. Thank you for trusting Richland Aviation with your aviation service needs. We sincerely appreciate your loyalty and continued patronage.

Thanks again,
Mike Petrik
